Lake Suwa Festival Fireworks Display

The Lake Suwa Festival Fireworks Display is a large-scale fireworks display held on Lake Suwa in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, on August 15th every year, and is one of the two major fireworks events in Suwa City, along with the National New Fireworks Competition, which is held every year in early September. This event, which attracts approximately 500,000 spectators every year, sees the launch of approximately 40,000 fireworks, making it one of the largest fireworks displays in Japan.
